Another storage project successfully completed for Leroy Merlin in France
Leroy Merlin has improved its logistics operation courtesy of AR Racking, to whom it assigned once again the design and installation of the storage systems of its new equipment in Béziers (France). AR Racking has led the intralogistics adaptation of the new warehouse of the French multinational in the south-east of the country, which has an area of 15,000 m2.
AR Racking, specialist in industrial storage solutions, has equipped the new warehouse of Leroy Merlin with an adjustable pallet racking system with hot dip galvanised racking that has generated a storage capacity of 10,000 pallets. It is a versatile system that adapts to any type of unit load and forklift. It also enables direct and immediate access to the goods. The hot dip galvanised finish ensures the greater strength and durability of the steel of the racking in extreme environmental conditions. The project was completed in two months.
“We are very proud that a major company such as Leroy Merlin should entrust the adaptation of its warehouses and distribution centres to AR Racking. We focused on optimising the logistics of the facilities so that Leroy Merlin can provide a more timely and optimum quality service to its customers”, explained Thomas Jérôme, project manager of AR Racking.
The Béziers warehouse is another example of the good understanding that exists between Leroy Merlin and AR Racking. The well-renowned DIY and construction materials and products sales company has been putting its trust for many years in AR Racking’s expertise as a comprehensive storage solutions supplier to fully exploit its new warehouses across France.
