Success in Hann. Münden: AR Racking finalises the implementation of its Push-Back System for NORDFROST
- The commissioning of the AR Live Storage LIFO system improves the efficiency of logistics processes in existing warehouses and maximises capacity in freezing conditions.
In a commercial relationship that combines innovation and efficiency, AR Racking has successfully completed its latest collaboration project with Nordfrost GmbH & Co.KG to optimise the refrigeration logistics processes.
NORDFROST is a family business based in Schortens and German market leader in frozen foods logistics. NORDFROST has 40 deep-freeze warehouses throughout Germany, and offers comprehensive and customised logistics solutions for the food industry, food retailers, and importers and exporters.
“This project is a test of the ability of our solutions to meet the specific requirements of deep-freeze logistics”, said Kai Thiemann, Key Account Manager for AR Racking Northern Germany. “We are delighted to have been able to generate operational improvements for our customer with the successful implementation of the LIFO AR Live Storage system”.
The project was completed in 2 phases. The first phase of the project covered an area of 840 m². This allowed NORDFROST to use the system in a partial area and to start to store immediately. In the second phase covering an area of 630 m², a further stage in the modernisation of the system was successfully completed.
The successfully implemented project complies with stringent cold storage standards and demonstrates the flexibility and performance of the AR Live Storage LIFO system.
“The new push-back system complements our logistics processes at the plant and allows for better use of existing storage capacity”, commented Oliver Kellner, director of the NORDFROST subsidiary in Hann.
