AR Racking successfully implements an innovative storage system for IceStar

• IceStar’s new temperature-controlled plant is located in the municipality of Coronel, Biobío Region, Chile.
• The development of this plant required that AR Racking enable a total of 4,400 pallet shuttle positions, with four operational shuttles and 1,272 adjustable pallet racking positions.

AR Racking, industrial storage solutions leader, is pleased to announce the successful completion of an important project developed for IceStar’s new temperature-controlled plant, located in the municipality of Coronel, Biobío Region, Chile.  This reaffirms AR Racking’s commitment to excellence in engineering, quality and compliance with the very highest storage system standards.

The objective of AR Racking’s collaboration with IceStar was to optimise the operation of its new temperature-controlled storage plant, which was developed to provide storage and distribution services to Chilean exporters, mainly seafood and frozen fruit.

The project included the installation by AR Racking of a total of 4,400  pallet shuttle positions, which operate with four shuttles to maximise storage density and operational efficiency, as well as 1,272 adjustable pallet racking positions, designed to guarantee speed and accessibility to the stored products.
