Efficiency in movement: a collaborative project optimizes warehouse operations for AQUILA Romania

AR Racking, is proud to announce the successful completion of an ambitious project for AQUILA Romania, leader in the logistics and distribution sector. The project, led by AMCO Interdeal – the official supplier in Romania, consisted of the installation of a pallet racking system at a new warehouse located in Aricesti-Ploiești, Romania, with an area of 6,840 m² and a capacity for approximately 9,000 pallet positions. AMCO Interdeal's in-depth knowledge of storage solutions and understanding of AQUILA Romania's specific needs were instrumental in achieving this outcome.

The installation of the racking system, which was completed in 21 days, has transformed the warehouse with advanced features including two pass-through tunnels under the racking. These tunnels allow quick access for goods handling equipment, facilitating the operation of forklifts from the truck unloading area to the rear of the warehouse, and in turn significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing processing times. The racking, which is 9 metres high and made of galvanised material, ensures durability and resistance, adapting to the customer's requirements.
