AR Racking and SNI-NORD optimise the storage capacity in Germany with a high bay installation

AR Racking, in collaboration with its official distributor in Germany, SNI-NORD, has successfully completed a new storage project for a food industry company in Essen/Oldenburg, Lower Saxony. The solution implemented has significantly increased the storage capacity at its facilities, optimising the space and ensuring a more efficient logistics performance.

The installation is based on an adjustable pallet racking (AR PAL) system, designed to maximise the available space. With a height of 11 metres and total capacity of 189 pallet positions, the design meets the customer’s specific needs, facilitating efficient stock management. The pallets used are 8 metres deep, 1.2 metres long and have a 1 metre loading height, enhancing the adaptability of the system to different operating requirements.

One of the most noteworthy aspects of the project is the use of hot-dip galvanised beams, a key characteristic for the food industry. This treatment provides greater protection against liquids and moisture, facilitating compliance with health regulations and the approval of inspections. In addition, galvanised beams require less maintenance and guarantee greater durability in demanding conditions, ensuring that the installation remains in optimal conditions for longer.

This project was possible thanks to the close collaboration between AR Racking and SNI-NORD, as part of the #GrowingTogether programme, an initiative that promotes the growth and competitiveness of AR Racking’s distribution network in Germany. Thanks to this strategic approach, SNI-NORD has strengthened its presence in the market offering highly efficient storage solutions, adapted to each customer’s actual needs.
